Your patch design, on every hat you stock.
Hatsembly turns one finished patch design into a Shopify product with every hat model and hat color you carry, and draws it live on your product page as the customer picks.
Hatsembly is coming to the Shopify App Store. It runs today on one hat shop's store.
From design to listed product, in the order you work
No photo shoot for every combination. Hatsembly composes the product from your own blank hat photos and your patch artwork, so a new design is on your store the same sitting you finish it.
-
Blank Hat Catalog
Add your vendor's hat photos, one per view. Hatsembly removes the background and lines every color up the same way.
-
Design Assets
Keep your patch artwork, patch colors, fonts, and backgrounds in one library, in folders.
-
Product Builder
Place the patch on the hat, add text fields for the customer, and check it on every model and color.
-
Shopify
Create the product: one variant per hat model and hat color, with a picture for each color. Sync it when you change the design.
What your customer sees is what you make
The same design recipe draws the product page, the picture in the cart, and the picture on the order. Nobody in production has to guess what the customer chose.
The storefront pieces take your theme's font and colors.
- Product pageThe hat is drawn live as the customer picks the hat model, hat color, and leather color.
- Their wordsCustomers type their own text, and it appears on the hat as they type.
- Their logoCustomers can upload a logo and see it on the patch before they buy.
- CartThe cart shows a picture of the hat they built.
- OrderEach order line carries the model, hat color, leather color, text, and a picture of the finished hat.
Built in a hat shop
Hatsembly was made inside Our Favorite Memories, a Shopify store that makes leather patch hats in-house, to list its own designs without photographing every combination.
It is for shops like it: you buy blank hats from vendors such as Richardson, make the patches from your own artwork, and sell on your own Shopify store.
